Electric Power Apparatus

Transformers, switchgear, and the substation apparatus that move power across the system. Known as EPAC.

Areas of focus

What this committee does.

Utilities and apparatus manufacturers, at the same table. Major power apparatus is a long-cycle, high-stakes purchase. EPAC is a direct line to manufacturers and to the standards bodies that shape what gets built.

The committee brings together electric utilities, equipment manufacturers, and industry organizations to improve power system equipment, promote safety, and support reliable, cost-effective solutions for the industry.
