Workforce Development

Hard-to-fill roles, training pipelines, and the people problem every utility now shares.

Areas of focus

What this committee does.

Building the utility workforce the grid now needs. Every member is hiring, training, and retaining against the same demographic and technology pressures. This committee turns that shared problem into shared solutions.

The committee works to empower a skilled, diverse, and adaptable utility workforce through training, mentorship, and upskilling – with active workstreams in talent development, innovation initiatives, a mentorship program, and workforce adaptation for technology transitions.
