AEIC membership spans 190+ utility entities across roughly 70 parent companies, from investor-owned utilities and public power to cooperatives and the research institutions that serve them. Together they deliver power across the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean.
For over 140 years, AEIC has been the room where the operating companies of the electric utility industry compare notes. Membership is held at the parent-company level and extends to every subsidiary and affiliate, so a single membership can cover a dozen operating utilities and thousands of professionals.
The list below is the parent membership. It is the denominator behind every committee roster, every workshop cohort, and every benchmarking dataset AEIC produces.
