Eversource Invests in Educational Success

Benjamin Franklin once wrote, “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.” Electric companies are committed to unlocking benefits for the customers and communities they serve, along with building the successful, qualified, and diverse workforce they will need for the future. Today, many companies are finding that investments in education are among the best ways to make a lasting difference.

By providing scholarships, STEM development programs, and other academic opportunities in partnership with community organizations and schools at every level, EEI’s member companies are helping students of all backgrounds achieve their educational and professional goals—and, along the way, also are helping them find rewarding careers in energy.

In New England, Eversource Energy exemplifies this trend, demonstrating strong corporate citizenship as well as helping prepare the workforce it will need to continue the energy transformation through its programs and partnerships to benefit students at all levels.
