Hydro One Partners With Nine First Nations to Build New Transmission Line

Hydro One, an AEIC member, is partnering with nine First Nations to build the Waasigan Transmission Line in NW Ontario, addressing the energy needs of the growing mining sector. This $1.2B project includes a 230kV line connecting Thunder Bay to Atikokan by 2025, and extending to Dryden by 2027.
