Building the utility workforce the grid now needs.
Every member is hiring, training, and retaining against the same demographic and technology pressures. This committee turns that shared problem into shared solutions.
What the committee does: The committee works to empower a skilled, diverse, and adaptable utility workforce through training, mentorship, and upskilling – with active workstreams in talent development, innovation initiatives, a mentorship program, and workforce adaptation for technology transitions.
Who it’s for: HR, training, talent, and operations leaders responsible for the workforce.
Focus area tags: Talent Development · Mentorship · Upskilling · Workforce Adaptation
Why get involved:
- Solve the hiring, training, and retention problem alongside utilities facing it too.
- Tap a working mentorship program and shared upskilling resources.
- Help build the workforce strategy the whole industry needs.
Members include utility professionals in human resources, workforce strategy, organizational development, and operations. Companies may have multiple representatives contributing to different workstreams.
