Grid telecom is now mission-critical and converging fast with operations technology. This is where utility communications leaders work the road ahead together.

What the committee does:  A subcommittee of the Power Delivery Committee, Telecommunications is a collaborative platform for utility leaders and technical experts on the telecommunications needs critical to reliable, resilient, secure grid operations – IT/OT network convergence, private broadband and 5G, communications resilience, standards and interoperability, and workforce readiness.

Members typically have expertise in telecom engineering, network architecture, cybersecurity, operations, and digital transformation. Multiple representatives per company are encouraged to ensure active participation across specialized working groups. Membership is open to AEIC member companies and select invited collaborators.
