National Grid, an AEIC member company, is partnering with GE Vernova to enhance the stability of New York’s power grid. GE Vernova will build two 115 kV synchronous condenser sites in Watertown, helping to manage electricity flow, ease voltage dips from renewable energy, and de-energize power lines in emergencies.
