Load Research and Analytics – Statistical Methods Course (2nd Session)

This Statistical Methods Course is an in-depth, 12 hours of instruction over 4 workdays.

Join us for AEIC LR&A Committee’s 2026 The Statistical Methods Course! This course will be hosted on MS Teams and will consist of four half day sessions, spread over 2 weeks. Statistical theory under-pinning sample design, sample expansion, hypothesis testing and regression analysis will be covered and then applied to common industry problems encountered by load research professionals.

Analysts, Marketers, Planners, Rate Design Analysts, Load Research Analysts and Cost-of-Service Analysts who work with load data, modeling and sampling will find the subject matter beneficial. Attendees should have attended the AEIC Fundamentals Course or have a strong statistical background or have several years of load research experience or a combination of these prerequisites. Also a familiarity with SAS, R or Stata programming will be helpful.
