Welcome to AEIC's 140th Annual Meeting

AEIC’s Annual Meeting is the one place where you can join your peers to collaborate, network, and share ideas about how we can lead our industry forward to achieve a modern, more sustainable grid for all. Last year, more than 250 executives and senior leaders representing major electric utilities and other organizations came together to address our industry’s greatest operational challenges, from electrification to the supply chain. We can’t wait to see you all this September in Colorado Springs, CO!

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING BOOKING HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

We have a limited number of rooms available under our AEIC negotiated rate room block for Tuesday night (9/24) and Wednesday night (9/25). Therefore, when booking rooms, you may receive the following message: “No lodging matches your search criteria. Please change your search options and try again.”

If you receive this message, we suggest adjusting your dates and booking only those dates that are shown as available under the AEIC room block. This will likely be Thursday and Friday nights.

Currently, rooms at the Broadmoor are available, outside of the AEIC room block, for all nights. To book rooms at the Broadmoor at the standard room rate, please visit the Broadmoor website or call 855-634-7711.

What to Expect

As those entrusted to “keep the lights on,” AEIC’s members know better than anyone how difficult that is and how much more difficult it may become in the years ahead without strong leadership and a clear path to follow.

We face unprecedented challenges from new policies being enacted at the federal, state, and local levels, often with little regard to the difficulty and cost involved to achieve compliance. Likewise, we face increasing expectations from consumers to supply cleaner and more reliable power at a lower cost. And of course, there are the “Acts of God” that are now happening at a previously unimaginable pace and with increasingly devastating impacts.

AEIC is prepared to address these challenges and lead the transformation to a future electricity infrastructure. Through close collaboration, AEIC’s members apply new ways of thinking, leading-edge technologies, and operational innovations to continually improve the safety, efficiency and resiliency of the grid. We are problem-solvers who rise to meet day-to-day operational challenges and visionaries who accelerate opportunities for modern transformation.
